Levan Meskhia appointed to lead Tbilisi City Hall’s internal audit and monitoring service
“Levan Meskhia will assume the role of Head of Tbilisi City Hall’s Internal Audit and Monitoring Service,” announced the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, during today’s municipal government session.
According to Kakha Kaladze, Meskhia’s extensive experience in public service will greatly benefit both the City Hall and the city as a whole.
“Levan Meskhia is a qualified lawyer. He has served as Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Service at the Ministry of Regional Development of Georgia and previously led the Internal Audit and Monitoring Department at the United Water Supply Company of Georgia. He also brings extensive experience working across various state agencies. Given the importance of this position, having highly qualified personnel is vital for the effective functioning of the service,” said Kakha Kaladze.
The Mayor also expressed his gratitude to the former Head of the Internal Audit Service, Giorgi Khvedelidze, for his dedication and service.
“I wish Levan Meskhia every success in his new role, and I would like to thank Giorgi Khvedelidze for his professionalism and hard work during his tenure,” added Kakha Kaladze.
