Levan Ghirsiashvili appointed as First Deputy Education Minister

Levan Ghirsiashvili has been appointed as First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Sports and Youth of Georgia.

Minister Givi Mikadze introduced the First Deputy to the staff members of the Ministry.

Levan Ghirsiashvili has extensive experience working in the public sector. At various times, he has held positions including Head of the National Security Council Apparatus, Advisor to the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, and First Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Management Service at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He has also served as Senior Advisor at the Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom, Deputy Secretary of the State Security and Crisis Management Council, Deputy Minister of Defence, and other positions.
