Lelo’s Khazaradze says Georgia risks losing connection with Europe, Ivanishvili not to be allowed to seize our future
“Highlighting only travel as a counter-argument of visa liberalisation suspension is insignificant to what Georgia loses, the daily connections with European civilisation, which will bring negative outcomes in short and long-term perspective,” wrote Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Lelo party, on Facebook.
According to Khazaradze, every Georgian citizen, and especially supporters of the Georgian Dream, should acknowledge that Georgia is “heading towards the abyss in the hands of Ivanishvili-Kobakhidze policy.”
“The statement of the Georgian Dream, namely, the so-called prime minister of the Russian regime, about the suspension of visa liberalisation is an anti-state stance, disregarding decade-long achievements of the Georgian people and promises full isolation of the country.
Speculating with the issue that ‘a woman is a woman’ and ‘a man is a man.’ This should have only one explanation: they face serious problems within the party. Georgian men and women do not need shameful Russian propaganda. Highlighting only travel as a counter-argument to visa liberalisation suspension is insignificant to what Georgia loses, which is the daily connections with European civilisation. This will bring negative outcomes in the short and long-term perspective.
Every Georgian citizen, and especially supporters of the Georgian Dream, should acknowledge that Georgia is heading towards the abyss in the hands of Ivanishvili-Kobakhidze policy. Therefore, I will repeat, on neither front of the fight, we should allow them to seize what belongs to the Georgian people and our future,” he said.
