Lelo's Irakli Kupradze: We continue resistance, to employ all lines of strategic resistance to lead to victory
“The resistance face-to-face with the Russian regime and Georgian Dream will be uncompromising and principal. There is no other way that will resolve the political crisis,” said Irakli Kupradze, a member of the Lelo-Strong Georgia party, at the briefing.
According to Kupradze, the Georgian Dream will bear responsibility for adopting anti-democratic, anti-national, and anti-European political decisions and laws.
“The anti-national and anti-Georgian Dream decided to make a decisive hit to democracy by banning pro-Western political parties, including the political coalition Lelo-Strong Georgia, which has served Georgian citizens for many years, pursuing their main interest – to return the Georgian people’s voice to politics.
We keep on the fight and resistance. The Russian regime is instructed to wipe out pro-Western public oppositional forces, including the coalition Lelo-Strong Georgia. For us, this is a challenge which we will resist. Yesterday, we filed a constitutional lawsuit against those articles, which are unconstitutional,” he said.
Irakli Kupradze went on to say that the party’s representatives from all municipalities pledge that the resistance against the Russian regime and the Georgian Dream will be uncompromising.
“There is no other way to resolve the political crisis. The Georgian Dream, Ivanishvili and his political criminals will bear responsibility for adopting anti-democratic, anti-national, and anti-European political decisions and laws.
By standing here and through communication with citizens, we vow that this fight will not stop until victory. Victory is what Georgian citizens, the Georgian people deserve, and in this fight, we will employ all lines of strategic resistance that will lead to victory. We will fight to the end and will win,” he said.
The joint constitutional lawsuit of Georgian Dream faction and People’s Power and European Socialists political groups urges for declaring as unconstitutional and their ban of three parties: United National Movement (UNM); Coalition for Change – Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi, Droa; Strong Georgia – Lelo, For People, For Freedom.”
