Lelo Party expected taking up MP mandates by members of the Citizens Party, said Grigol Gegelia, a member of Lilo Party.

“Unfortunately, they took the step which means integration into the Georgian Dream masquerade,” Grigol Gegelia said. He claimed that the decision will have a political price and the Georgian people would make the verdict.

According Grigol Gegelia, the standpoint of Lelo party remains unchanged and being politicians and members of parliament is essential in such an environment where freedom, democracy and fair elections actually value.

“We struggle for snap elections. We will reach the target with active work both within Georgia and abroad together with our public,” Gogelia claimed.

On January 29, Aleko Elisashvili, leader of the Citizens party, declared they reached an agreement with the ruling Georgian Dream party. Levan Ioseliani and Aleko Elisashvili will take up their seats in the Parliament of the 10th Convocation.
