Emergency Service deploys additional fire and rescue teams to Beshumi and Omalo for summer season
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Management Service has deployed additional fire and rescue forces to the Beshumi resort and the village of Omalo for the summer season, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
According to the agency, additional personnel, drones, and specialized equipment have been mobilized to strengthen monitoring and preventive measures in the two popular tourist destinations.
The Emergency Situations Management Service urged residents and visitors to follow fire safety regulations and immediately report any signs of smoke or fire to the Public Safety Management Center 112.
