Labor Inspection Department reveals violations at majority of companies

Labor Inspection Department inspected more than 580 objects of 334 companies starting 2015 up to today. The inspection was carried out both in Tbilisi and regions. Violations were revealed at majority of companies.

Violations concern lack of safety rules, unregistered industrial traumas and fatal incidents, improper electricity and fire-fighting systems, poor sanitary-hygienic norms, inexistence of warning signs, etc.

Labor Inspection Department will issue written recommendation. The department has abstained from use of sanction mechanisms for the time being.
