“Georgia’s strategic choice is the integration into the European Union, and I will reconfirm this during my address to the forum,” Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili told reporters ahead of her speech to be delivered at the 2026 Bubrovnik Forum.

According to the FM, the discussion will focus on multivectoral diplomacy.

“This issue is relevant for Georgia both due to its geographical location and geopolitical context. Georgia’s viewpoints should be voiced. We build partnerships, seek tight contacts with countries from different regions, with the goal linked to Georgia’s clear role of connectivity in the region. This does not mean that we are replacing our strategic goals, and I will reconfirm it in my speech. Georgia’s strategic choice is the integration into the European Union, and I will voice it appropriately,” she said.
