Trilateral exercise of special operations forces, Caucasian Eagle 2026, completed in Mukhrovani
The trilateral exercise of special operations forces from Georgia, Turkiye and Azerbaijan, Caucasian Eagle 2026, has been completed at the Major Gela Chedia Training Center in Mukhrovani.
During the completion ceremony, General-Major/Deputy Commander of the Georgian Defence Forces Irakli Chichinadze, Special Operations Commander Colonel Teimuraz Klateishvili, and high-ranking defence officials of Turkiye and Azerbaijan addressed the training participants.
The training comprised combined raids on the conditional facility. With fire support, assault groups carried out the clearing of the building, engineering explosions, and neutralization of the adversary.
The trilateral exercise Caucasian Eagle 2026 of the special operations forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkiye is held annually in all three countries on a rotational principle. Next year, Azerbaijan will host the military drills.
