Kutaisi City Court judge fines nine individuals 5000 GEL

The Kutaisi City Court fined nine individuals who held a protest near the residential house of Malkhaz Okropiridashvili, a judge of the Kutaisi Court of Appeals, 5,000 GEL each.

Gela Mtvlishvili, Nino Katamadze, Vladimer Apkhazava, Khvicha Vashakhmadze, Ketevan Pilauri, Maia Tsiramua, Irina Zarandia, Givi Tsintsadze, and Eka Kukhalashvili can appeal the decision to the Court of Appeals within ten days.

All nine were charged under Article 174-1 Prime of the Administrative Offenses Code.

These individuals held a protest as the judge did not accept the Batumi City Court’s decision in Mzia Amaglobeli’s case.
