Kobakhidze: Baramidze’s statement was utterly repulsive; he struck at everything Georgian through his shameful, false claims

“Giorgi Baramidze’s statement was utterly repulsive. Through his shameful, false claims, he struck at everything Georgian, at Georgian culture, at Georgian humanity, and at our very civility, which is disgraceful,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

As the Head of Government noted, there can be no justification for such falsehoods. This reveals the true face of the collective United National Movement.

“There were a few negative comments from the collective UNM regarding Baramidze, but look at the collective UNM’s overall stance toward his statement, and look at how their party-affiliated television channels covered the issue; complete silence. Baramidze made a disgraceful statement, and not a single party-affiliated television channel dares to offer a decent comment on it. Why? Because these television channels are ordinary party assets following external orders,” declared Irakli Kobakhidze.
