Kakha Kaladze – It is mental problem when witnesses of murder exist but they do not speak

It is regrettable when there are witnesses of a certain case but they do not want to speak. It is a mental problem that has to be changed,” Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor told journalists when talking about murder at Khorava Street in Tbilisi on December 1, 2017.

Kaladze claimed that changing mentality in the society would take much time. “Work about the case is ongoing in several directions – Ministry of Internal Affairs, Prosecutor’s Office; a special parliamentary commission will begin working soon. All questions will be answered,” Kaladze said.

At the order of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the case returned to Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) from Prosecutor’s Office for re-investigation.

Two youngsters were sentenced to imprisonment based on the verdict made by City Court on May 31.
