The Justice Ministry hosted an inter-agency commission in preparation for free and fair elections. The commission reviewed and familiarised itself with the report from the Public Services Development Agency, which contains the updated and verified information of the voters’ list.

According to the Ministry, the agency regularly implements data quality control and targeted activities to ensure the accuracy of the voter list. A certain category of citizens will be able to obtain electronic ID cards at half price from August 11 to September 5.

During the pre-election monitoring process, the commission actively tracks media reports and information from political parties to ensure timely responses and to develop well-informed recommendations.
