Justice Minister says ex-President Saakashvili to be moved to prison when doctors recommend

Jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili will be moved back to prison from the Vivamedi Clinic when doctors issue such a recommendation, said Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze.

Justice Minister confirmed that the ex-president’s health improved, adding he was “glad.”

“I confirm the conclusion of physicians on Mikheil Saakashvili’s health improvement. We are glad to hear about his condition improving dramatically, and he will certainly be transferred to a penitentiary facility when there is an appropriate decision and recommendation from the doctors,” he said.
