JTEC marks anniversary in Krtsanisi

May 30 marks the anniversary of the NATO–Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC). On its 10th anniversary, First Deputy Minister of Defence Paata Patiashvili and Deputy Commander of the Defence Forces, Major General Irakli Chichinadze, congratulated the centre’s leadership and personnel.

In their speeches, both officials emphasized the strategic importance of JTEC and acknowledged the valuable support of international partners in its development.

Congratulatory remarks were also delivered by Alexander Vinnikov, Head of the NATO Liaison Office; Dale Woodhouse, Deputy Head of the NATO Core Team for the NATO–Georgia Substantial Package (SNGP); and Colonel Davit Gagua, Commander of JTEC.

The event began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial to the Heroes of Georgia’s Territorial Integrity and International Missions. As part of the celebrations, JTEC personnel were honoured with departmental medals and certificates, and several expressed their gratitude for the recognition.
