James Appathurai - Georgia has a centuries-long tradition of standing together in times of crisis

Georgia today marks the 31st anniversary of the 9 April tragedy.

James Appathurai, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia has echoed this day and said: “Georgia has a centuries-long tradition of standing together in times of crisis.”

“Congratulations to Georgia on the anniversary of the Day of National Unity. Georgia has a centuries-long tradition of standing together in times of crisis, as it is doing now again against the pandemic we all face,” Appathurai wrote on Facebook.
