Irish Senator: Not too far in the future we will see Georgian territories unified

Irish senators express their concern about the installation of wire fences along the occupational line and express support to Georgia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia released the regarding information.

According to the Ministry, in parallel with the resolution supported by the Senate of the Republic of Ireland, Senators expressed support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and condemned the occupation of Georgian territories by Russia.

According to Senator Dermot Wilson, he is concerned about the installation of barbed wire fences in Georgia and divided families. In his speech, he remembered his visit to Georgia. ” Not too far in the future we will see Georgian territories unified” – Senator said.

The Senate of Ireland unanimously adopted the Resolution/Motion on support for the territorial integrity of Georgia and its integration into the European Union, on 7 November 2018.
