Irakli Shotadze – I came as law-obedient citizen and will answer questions of Investigation Commission
Former Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze says that he is ready to answer all questions of the Parliamentary Interim Facts-Finding Commission into Khorava Street murder case.
“I came as a law-obedient citizen,” Shotadze told journalists before beginning of the commission’s sitting.
The Parliamentary Interim Facts-Finding Commission into Khorava Street murder case will question Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia, Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani and former Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze today. The questions will mainly refer to the ongoing investigation into the case.
The commission questioned about 70 people during its 2-month-long work including the juveniles who participated in a bloody conflict. The commission conclusion will presumably become known in September.
The bloody conflict among school students at Khorava Street claimed lives of 2 juveniles on December 1, 2017.
