Decision on the involvement of international experts will be made base on results of examination of Archil Tatunashvili’s body conducted in Georgia – Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Irakli Shotadze made the regarding statement.

According to Irakli Shotadze, investigation into Archil Tutunashvili’s case has been launched since the day when Archil Tutunashvili was abducted.

“First of all, I once again expressed my condolences to Tatunashvili’s family. This is the tragedy for the whole country. The investigation was launched at the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the very day when Tatunashvili was abducted. All the necessary investigative activities are being carried out, while the decision on the involvement of international experts will be made after studying the results of the forensic examination. Of course, the investigation will be completely transparent. Society will be fully informed about the progress of the investigation and the family will have access to the results of the investigation”, – Irakli Shotadze said.
