Irakli Kobakhidze: Opposition’s false allegations of Georgia evading sanctions were consistently disproved
“The opposition has made numerous attempts to accuse Georgia of evading sanctions, and each time it has been conclusively proven that these claims are false,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to the Prime Minister, a recent visit by an American-European-British mission to Georgia further verified with concrete facts that the country is meticulously complying with the sanctions policy.
“The opposition has repeatedly sought to portray Georgia as a black hole for EU sanctions. Each time, it has been proven to be a lie. The visit by the American-European-British mission also confirmed, through clear evidence, that we are steadfastly adhering to our sanctions commitments. This is our firm approach,” the Prime Minister stated.
