The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze hosted the members of US Congress at the official dinner. US delegation is visiting Georgia.

According to the press service of the parliament, the parties exchanged views on the strategic cooperation of two countries  and talked about the importance of the alliance between two countries.

Members of the US Congress noted that Georgia has a status of distinguished democracy in the region and reaffirmed the support toward the ongoing reforms in the country.

The parties welcomed the intensification of the interaction between delegations of US Congress  and the Parliament of Georgia and agreed to continue future relations.
