Interior Minister meets with newly appointed Ambassador of Israel, Walid Abu Haya
Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Israel to Georgia, Walid Abu Haya.
The Minister congratulated the Israeli Ambassador on starting his diplomatic mission in Georgia. He also wished him success.
The parties discussed the close partnership in law enforcement between Georgia and Israel. They also explored prospects for further deepening relations.
“Geka Geladze focused on the special role of police attaches in strengthening bilateral cooperation. He also stated that police ties between the countries have become even more intense recently.
For his part, the ambassador thanked the Minister of Internal Affairs for the meeting and expressed his readiness to contribute to the further deepening of the partnership between the countries,” the MIA statement reads.
