Interior Minister meets with Hungarian Ambassador

Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, held an introductory meeting with Petra Ponevac-Pana, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Georgia.

The Minister congratulated the Hungarian Ambassador on the commencement of her diplomatic mission in Georgia and extended his best wishes for her success.

During the discussion, both parties emphasised the importance of maintaining close, friendly relations between the two nations. They focused on the existing cooperation in law enforcement and explored opportunities for further deepening their partnership.

The Minister highlighted that robust partnership relations have been established between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Hungary, which is of great significance to Georgia. The conversation also addressed priority areas within the agency and the prospects for expanding collaboration with Hungary.
