Interior Minister: Expert reports confirm no prior damage to Presidential Palace fence

Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, told the media that an expert report has determined that the fence of the presidential palace was not damaged prior to the assault.

Responding to a journalist’s question, Geladze stated: “There are statements about the fence, whether an investigative experiment or expert report was carried out, and what the results were.”

He added, “It is probably embarrassing and somewhat amusing to discuss this. We commissioned an additional expert report to examine whether there were any signs of damage or sawing on the fence. In fact, the damage resulted from physical force; there are no signs of sawing. The expert reports are already available.”
