Insurance of trade centers and markets to become obligatory

Insurance of trade centers, markets and other places of mass assemblage will become obligatory, while administrative fines will be imposed for carrying out activities without insurance.

Owners of trade centers or markets will be fined with 1000 GEL. Those who own hotels with 100 or more rooms will have to pay 5000 GEL. Penalties will also apply to owners of petrol and gas stations.

Corresponding changes will be made into Administrative Law Violations Code. The changes will be initiated during the parliamentary bureau sitting.
