Injured tourists in Gudauri being brought to Tbilisi by reanomobiles

The tourists injured in a ropeway crash incident in Gudauri ski resort, are being transported to Tbilisi by reanomobiles instead of helicopters because of dense fog and bad sight in the region, journalist of First Channel reports. One tourist was brought by a helicopter several hours ago.

The holidaymakers will be transferred to Ghudushauri Hospital. According to Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, 11 people were injured due to a ropeway crash in Gudauri. Five injured tourists were provided medical assistance at site.

There is one pregnant woman among those injured. The injured patients are citizens of Ukraine, Russia, Sweden and Georgia. Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) launched an investigation into case of ropeway crash incident.
