Infrastructure Minister highlights strategic importance of closer ties with China for Georgia
“Chinese companies are actively involved in the realisation of infrastructure projects across Georgia. We hope that this bilateral cooperation will deepen further. The Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to China is aimed at strengthening the relations between our two nations,” said Revaz Sokhadze, Georgia’s Minister of Infrastructure.
According to Sokhadze, close relations with China, particularly in terms of infrastructure development, are of great significance for Georgia.
“We participate in major international events such as the China International Import Expo. For us, the relationship between Georgia and China, including in infrastructure, is critically important. Chinese companies are actively engaged in implementing infrastructure projects here, and we look forward to seeing this cooperation grow. The purpose of this visit is to intensify the friendship and collaboration between Georgia and China further,” he added.
