India has reported another record daily rise of 83, 341 coronavirus infections today. 1 096 patients have died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

In total, India reported more than 3 936 000 active COVID-19 cases, of those, 68 472 died of the virus.

India ranks third behind the U.S. and Brazil.
