“I have no desire to discuss the opposition’s plans or candidates; our focus is on engaging with the people and delivering tangible projects in the capital,” stated Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze in response to a journalist’s question about the opposition’s potential common candidate in the local elections.

Kaladze affirmed that Georgian Dream is the team best equipped to face challenges with dignity.

“I’m not interested in the opposition’s plans or their candidate. Our priority is to talk to the people and implement tangible initiatives for Tbilisi. We’ve achieved a lot for our beautiful city, but serious challenges remain. Tbilisi is an age-old city, confronting the challenges of ageing infrastructure, outdated communications, and the urgent need for proper maintenance. Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia is the team equipped to respond with dignity to all the issues facing Tbilisi,” incumbent Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze affirmed.
