Ilia State University and San Diego State University will host the opening ceremony of new Technological building

On June 4, at 10:00, Ilia State University (ISU) and San Diego State University will host the opening ceremony of new Technological building.

The event will be attended by 9th President of San Diego State University Adela de la Torre, Rector of Ilia State University Giga Zedania, Vice President of Millennium Challenge Corporation Anthony Walcher, the Executive Director of Millennium Challenge Fund – Georgia Magda Magradze, SDSU Georgia Dean Halil Güven and other guests.

The four-story, 4 600 square meter building, located in Tbilisi’s Vake district, has been built within the partnership between SDSU Georgia and Ilia State University.

The building which is equipped with the latest technologies will host electrical and civil engineering labs, classrooms and common areas.

The project was implemented within the financial support of MCC’s Georgia Compact II and Ilia State University.
