Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital has refuted social media claims that 120 children are being treated for intoxication. According to the hospital, only one patient is currently undergoing treatment for suspected intoxication, with the cause under investigation.

“The claim that 120 children are being treated for intoxication at Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital is false. As of today, only one patient is undergoing treatment for probable intoxication. The cause will be established by the relevant authorities. At this stage, the child’s condition is stable,” the hospital stated.

Meanwhile, the National Food Agency has launched an investigation into a suspected case of water intoxication. IDS Borjomi, a bottled water company, also issued a statement confirming that product samples were tested, and no violations were found.
