Hungarian FM: Our allies won a dominant victory in Georgia

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó congratulated Kakha Kaladze on re-election as Tbilisi Mayor in the October 4 municipal elections.

“Our allies won a dominant victory in Georgia too!! Our patriot friends, Georgia Dream, won first in the local government election with street length. Bravo!

Big congratulations to Kakha Kaladze, who was re-elected as Mayor of Tbilisi! I’m curious (not actually…) when will the EU condemn the smashing and crushing of the opposition,” he wrote on Facebook.

Based on the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kakha Kaladze is leading in the Tbilisi mayoral elections with 71.55 percent. Kaladze has been re-elected as the mayor of the capital for a third term.
