Heavy rain is expected across Georgia on November 17, and it will be snowing in the mountainous regions – Svetlana Nioradze, Head of Hydro-Meteorological Service of National Environment Agency told 1tv.ge.

Nioradze said that abundant precipitation may cause water level increase in the rivers and activation of avalanche and land sliding processes in the highly elevated regions.

The air temperature on November 17 in east Georgia will be 9-14 degrees by Celsius scale, in the west – 10-15 degrees, while in Tbilisi – 12.

It will stop raining throughout the country starting November 18. However, the air temperature will not increase.
