Health Ministry to purchase houses for over 500 IDP families

The Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency will purchase houses for over 500 IDP families throughout Georgia.

According to the Health Ministry, the special commission shortlisted the families, and the list is available on the agency’s website.

The IDP families will be given 6 months to select houses in any region of the country and present them to the agency.

“In parallel with the construction of residential complexes for the purpose of resettling displaced families, the house purchase program has recently gained special significance. The agency has purchased houses for 1, 050 families this year. The process of providing housing to internally displaced families will more actively continue in the future,” the Ministry said.
