Health Minister confirms that he is quitting the post

Davit Sergeenko, Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs confirms that he is quitting the post.

In an interview with journalists, Sergeenko said that he would make the statement together with Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. Sergeenko said consultations preceded the decision.

According to Sergeenko, he would remain a member of Georgian Dream. “The team upholds the values which are precious for me, being an ordinary doctor. The decisions of this team saved lives of tens of thousands of people. I will continue working with this team.” Sergeenko said.

Davit Sergeenko has held the post of Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs since October of 2010.
