Deputy Culture Minister visits Rio de Janeiro ViDançar Dance School
Georgian Deputy Culture Minister Giorgi Mirtskhulava, alongside Georgian Ambassador to Brazil Zurab Mchelishvili and the Ministry’s International Relations Department Head Zurab Bakuradze, visited ViDançar Dance School in Rio de Janeiro.
At the educational center, children from socially vulnerable families attend free classes in dance, art, and educational subjects, with the joint participation of the state and the private sector.
The school unites over 500 participants of classical ballet, hip-hop and breakdance. Successful graduates have won scholarships in world-renowned educational institutions in Moscow, Paris and Miami.
According to the Culture Ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for future cooperation and the sharing of professional experience in the field of choreographic education. Students of the school performed several dances in honor of the guests.
