Head of Gov't Administration: PM to address Georgian economy at EPC Summit amid record growth

“The Georgian delegation, led by the Prime Minister, will participate in the seventh summit of the European Political Union in Copenhagen,” stated Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration.

He explained that during the summit, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech at a round table focused on the Georgian economy, which has recorded the highest growth in the region for two consecutive years.

“We will also discuss the current economic challenges facing Europe and the dependencies affecting its economy,” Zhorzholiani added.

The summit offers an opportunity for leaders to engage informally, share ideas, and establish connections.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will support the French initiative to establish an anti-drug coalition. Combating drugs and drug trafficking remains a top priority for the government. Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has made significant progress, seizing large quantities of drugs and arresting numerous major dealers.

“The government has declared an unwavering fight against drug traffickers. The Prime Minister will join this European initiative, which we have already confirmed to the organisers,” Zhorzholiani concluded.
