Guranda Gabunia to be buried at Didube Pantheon

Guranda Gabunia, famous Georgian actress of theater and cinema will be buried at Didube Pantheon of Public Figures next to her husband Otar Meghvinetukhutsesi on February 7.

Gabunia graduated from the Faculty of Acting at Shota Rustaveli Theater Institute of Georgia in 1960. After completing the Institute she became an actress of Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli Theater.

Since 1975 she had been working at Kote Marjanishvili Theater. She is well known for her roles in Ekipazh (1980), Tojinebi Itsinian (1962) and Data Tutashkhia (1977). Guranda Gabunia died at the age of 80 after a long illness.
