All the changes that are taking place in the National Movement’s structure are initiated by Mikheil Saakashvili, – one of the leaders of National Movement party made this statement when commenting about Mikheil Saakashvili’s video address.

Grigol Vashadze thanked Mikheil Saakashvili for his confidence.

“It will be decided at the Congress session whether I will be elected as the chairman of the party. As for the statement of my leader, I would like to thank him for the confidence. The rest is up to the delegates. I want to emphasize one thing. I heard that Mikhail Saakashvili is leaving the party and similar nonsenses. Mikheil Saakashvili is the founder of this party, the leader of the party, and all changes in the structure of the “National Movement” take place on his initiative. Because we are entering a hard political period, the party needs a much more effective management system, and the party leader was the first who felt this”, – Grigol Vashadze said.

Georgian ex-President and former Odessa governor Mikheil Saakashvili said in his FB video address today that National Movement needs a leader at the place and he would personally support Grigol Vashadze’s candidacy.
