Gov't Administration Head announces up to 20 countries for JESC 2025, spectacular show at New Sports Palace
“Representatives from up to 20 countries are set to visit Georgia for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (JESC 2025). The event will take place in the small hall of the New Sports Palace,” announced Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Georgian Government Administration.
According to Zhorzholiani, the contest participants will arrive in Georgia ten days before the event, allowing them to immerse themselves in Georgian culture and traditions.
“Since Georgia first participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest over 16-17 years ago, we have been the most successful country among European participants, achieving the highest number of victories and notable results. Notably, in 2024, Andria Putkaradze secured a record-breaking number of points—a feat never before accomplished. As a result, Georgia earned the right to host the 2025 contest, which is scheduled for December 13.
Between 12 and 20 countries will send their representatives to Georgia. The event will be held in the small hall of the New Sports Palace, and we are preparing a grand production that we will organise together. Approximately 100 journalists are expected to cover the event. Participants and their teams will arrive ten days before the contest, allowing them to discover and showcase Georgia’s vibrant culture. An extraordinary and memorable show awaits the Georgian audience,” Zhorzholiani stated.
