Government declares August 29 a holiday

The Georgian government declared Friday, August 29, a day off.

According to the Government Administration, the order, signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, does not apply to financial obligations to be fulfilled by entities subject to the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia.

It does not extend to services and public servants, whose fulfilment of duties and functions represents an emergent need.
