Government Commission Approves Construction Blueprint of Georgian Culture Center on the River Jordan

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia led yet another session of the Government Commission established for the creation of a Georgian Culture Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the River Jordan, near the place of baptism of the Savior.

The meeting held within the Government Administration resulted in the endorsement of the Construction Blueprint of the Center of Georgian Culture on the River Jordan.

The Government Commission heard detailed information from the members of a group working on the project about the actual works carried out since the previous session and planned the further measures to be implemented for the construction of the Center. It was mentioned that the construction company is being selected. The Head of Government of Georgia gave specific institutions to the cabinet ministers.

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia is personally directing the work of the Government Commission. Meeting of the Government Commission for the Establishment of a Center of Georgian Culture on the River Jordan was attended today by Thea Tsulukiani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Georgia; Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Giorgi Amilakhvari, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia; Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia; Revaz Javelidze, Head of Government Administration; Vladimir Konstantinidis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Metropolitan David of Alaverdi (Makharadze); Metropolitan Gerasime (Sharashenidze) of Zugdidi and Tsaish and Deacon Andria Jaghmaidze, Head of the Public Relations Service at the Patriarchate of Georgia.
