PM leads Government Commission's 2nd meeting on building Culture Central on River Jordan

Preliminary blueprints and demo files of the Georgian Arts and Culture Center on River Jordan were presented to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Patriarchy representatives at the Government Commission’s 2nd meeting on building the Georgian Arts and Culture Center on River Jordan.

A land plot of 4000 square meters in the title ownership of Georgia is located in the vicinity of the place of baptism of Jesus Christ, within 15-20 meters from River Jordan. Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia participated in the handover of the land plot to the country in the spring of 2022 together with Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Thea Tsulukiani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia; Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Giorgi Amilakhvari, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia; Rati Bregadze, Minister of Justice of Georgia; Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia; Revaz Javelidze, Head of Government Administration; Vladimer Konstantinidi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Deacon Andria Jaghmaidze, Head of Public Relations Service of the Patriarchy of Georgia; Metropolitan Priest Gerasime (Sharashenidze) of Zugdidi and Tsaishi; Metropolitan Priest David (Makharadze) of Alaverdi attended the meeting.
