GOC: Ilia II's condition remains troubling but stable

The Patriarch’s health remains a concern, though his condition is currently stable, according to an official statement from the Georgian Orthodox Church (GOC).

“Following an unexpected complication, His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, is presently receiving treatment at the Caucasus Medical Centre. While his condition is concerning, it remains stable.

We kindly ask everyone to keep him in their prayers,” the Patriarchate’s statement reads.
