Girchi’s Rakviashvili: Even if MEGOBARI Act were adopted, it would change nothing beyond PR

Rakviashvili was asked about the recent adoption of the 2026 National Defence Authorisation Act by the U.S. Senate, which has no reference to the MEGOBARI Act concerning Georgia.

“All the fuss surrounding the MEGOBARI Act is purely PR. Sometimes the United National Movement uses it to threaten the Georgian Dream, and other times the Georgian Dream itself claims it’s fighting against it. But in reality, it’s just political posturing,” Rakviashvili stated.
