The leader of the party “Gakharia for Georgia,” Giorgi Gakharia, has left the Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office after being questioned for approximately three hours.
After leaving, Gakharia did not comment to media about the questioning details, stating he would hold a briefing on the matter tomorrow.
The questioning likely relates to an incident that occurred at Sheraton Batumi on January 15th.
The investigation has been launched under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which concerns violence.
