More than eight million international visitors will visit Georgia in 2018, – head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration Giorgi Chogovadze stated today.

We are pleased that the dynamic of tourism in Georgia continues. The main factor of this result is a new strategy for tourism development started three years ago.

2018 will be a year of new records, including the first time when our country crosses eight million marks per year in terms of international travellers, and revenues from tourism will be up to 3 billion US dollars, – Giorgi Chogovadze said.
