Georgia’s PM meets with Chinese Ambassador to Georgia

Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, held a meeting with Zhou Qian, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia.

According to the Government Administration’s press service, the diplomat congratulated the Prime Minister on the convincing victory of the ruling team in the recent local self-government elections.

The discussion centred on the positive progress in the development of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China. During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador presented the Prime Minister with an official invitation from China to attend the 8th China International Import Expo, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.
