Georgia’s Infrastructure Minister meets with WB Regional Director to discuss key development projects

Revaz Sokhadze, Georgia’s Minister of Infrastructure, met with Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, they reviewed ongoing and planned projects related to the development of Georgia’s international road corridors, including the remaining section of the Rikoti Pass and the Kakheti Highway construction.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the World Bank Regional Director for their support in Georgia’s sustainable development and reaffirmed his readiness to continue fruitful cooperation. Pryce extended her best wishes to the Minister for his future endeavours.

The World Bank remains a key partner for Georgia, having supported the implementation of numerous significant road and civic infrastructure projects across the country.

Deputy Infrastructure Ministers Vakhushti Bagrationi and Mzia Giorgobiani, Roads Department Chair Levan Darakhvelidze and the WB Transport Managers attended the meeting.
