Georgia's Ambassador to United States meets with U.S. Congressman Jim Baird
The Georgian Ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, met with Congressman Jim Baird (Republican Party), representative from Indiana and serves on the House Foreign Relations, Science, and Agriculture Committees.
Congressman Baird is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, having received numerous military honours.
According to the Georgian Embassy in the United States, the discussion centred on the development of bilateral relations and the increasing momentum of cooperation.
The parties highlighted Georgia’s strategic geopolitical location, its economic potential, and its historical role in the Middle Corridor.
Tamar Taliashvili expressed gratitude to Jim Baird for his legislative backing of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within the U.S. Congress, the embassy stated.
